The 411 about me...
I was born and raised in Southern California. One of my career goals is to be a radio DJ. Sometimes I forget that I'm just reaching my mid 20's, given the things I've been able to see, and do. I've been working for a radio station for the past 4 years, and it's been a hell of a ride! I've completed some college, but took a break to work and wound up joining the military.
How did I join? It took about 2 minutes to make the decision. I got tired of my job one day, and decided that I wasn't getting any younger, and said what the hell. I went to a local shopping center on my "LUNCH BREAK." They had a recruiting station for each branch of the service there. I looked at the Air Force and said no way. The only thing I'd want to do is fly a Stealth, and that ain't never happeing. Navy, a uh, they'll stick my ass on a submarine somewhere. Marines...nope, I'm too delicate for that. I wanted a challenge, not a beatdown. I looked at the Army recruiting office, and said okay. That was in October '99. I wound up graduating from Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina as the "Soldier of the Cycle" (HONOR GRAD). Not bad on a 2 minute decision huh. Now, I'm waiting on my Sergeant stripes.
I really don't think that I've accomplished a lot until I talk about it to someone. I've gotten to go to a lot of interesting places due to being in the military. A lot of the pictures on my site are of my deployment to Kosovo in 2002.
When I'm not working, I just like to go somewhere and unwind. I love the gym, martial arts, (you should see my kicks!) or just going for a run. I also like movies, veging infront of the TV, reading a book about the military, or just kicking back with a beer. I eventually want to fly helicopters...BLACKHAWKS.
This picture is of me in Kosovo, in 2002, while on a 12 mile road march, with my video camera in hand. I was covering soldiers on the last leg of earning their Expert Field Medical Badge-EFMB.
I grew up raised by my mom who was a single mother. She is my best friend.

The History Behind My Site
I actually created this site, as a way to catalog, if you will, certain events in my life.
Every once in a while, you need to just stop and take a look around. Sometimes it's the best way to realize, or take notice of what you have, where you've been, and who you are.
This was my way of doing that.
